Marc Houle drops another low-frequency bomb on his imprint, Items & Things, this time it’s a 3 track bass-fueled rager titled ‘Under The Sand’.
First we take a trip into the opener, ‘Like LSD’, with a throbbing low end and hypnotic crunch, the analogous vibes fill the spaces with a heavy heat and steamy energy that drives deep into the dark hours.
The title track takes over next, giving us the pressure we love with an airy and hypnotic dubby ambience that will keep you coming back for more. An instant classic over and over.
Last but definitely not least, ‘Veranda’ takes us hostage with a gritty edge that can only be described as satisfyingly brutal.
Uneasy vibes seep between the tactile bassline, keeping us on high alert while the unending throb of hot energy aggressively breaks through the barriers, onto the floor and into our hearts.
