Items & Things return with the third edition of their ʻVarious Itemsʼ series, a five-track digital exclusive. Featuring Items & Things debuts from Carreno is LB and Vicky Montefusco, as well as a return from Miro Pajic, ʻVarious Items 3ʼ, is a simultaneously cerebral and physical journey through EBM, Techno, Electro and beyond, continuing the labelʼs legacy of exploring the weird and the wonderful, as well as the dark and experimental.
A self-professed creator of electronic music that is both irreverent and profane, Madridʼs Carreno is LB provides the EPʼs two a-sides: an Items & Things entrance that is as sweet as it is blasphemous; two techno-not- techno instances of slow-grooving twisted musical contradiction. Having previously appeared on both IT011 and IT016, Berlin- based producer Miro Pajic returns to Items & Things with two sultry late night sex jams, ʻLove Chamberʼ and ʻHot Bodyʼ, capturing both his trademark production warmth and hard-hitting dancefloor power. Italian producer Vicky Montefusco increases the pace on EP closer ʻJump It,ʼ rounding off proceedings with a sensuous cut of brooding electronic depth.
