Canadian techno staple Marc Houle drops a fresh nocturnal adventure on his imprint Items & Things.
’Demurels’ is Marc Houle’s approach to the glam new wave sound. Its sallow, muddy bassline reflects the vaporous sounding vocals.
’Demurels’ is an original late night affair.
It comes with remixes from Ryan Crosson, Don Turi and Paco Osuna. Prolific American producer Ryan Crosson dives the track deeper into a dreamy headspace with big percussion that fills the floor in a thick blanket of sound. Paco Osuna, Spanish techno veteran and innovator delivers a wonderfully house-y remix with delightful dubby influences and a non-stop steady burn.
Relative newcomer Don Turi takes the lightest approach, keeping the track bouncy and playful in a Tech House arena.
